Oh, and to top it all off, the owner sells parking to outside people during the day, so when you get back to the lodge, there is nowhere for you to park & those people who have used the parking lot all day leave their dirty trash strewn all over the lot & the cabins themselves. This place is worse than sleeping outside on the hard, cold ground.Also, if you have your dog with you as we did, having all of these people milling around the cabin will put them in a state of panic and the ownership doesnt care. Its off the main HWY 18 so you dont hear the traffic passing by all day, but close enough to walk to nearby businesses. The cabin was a bit dated but had the comforts for a mountain cabin stay. But this resort happen to have a large cabin left, we have been to several different location and this by far is this the best yet. The rooms on the backside of the motel are next on the renovation list, as those rooms sustained more damage because the roof caved in. We stayed in cabin 11 it had everything for a large family.
