Their strength and tensile strength are slightly superior to conventional polyester but significantly inferior to aramid. These sails look remarkably colourful thanks to another advantage of this material - it is perfectly (and stably) coloured in any colours. You may find a few used laminated sails on the second-hand market place but theyre not as common as dacron.
