Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) appears in Patriots Day as Katherine Russell, Tamerlan Tsarnaev's young wife, who was never charged in relation to her husband's crimes. He says that his time with the bombers is accurately depicted in the film, right down to Dzhokhar asking if there was a jack in the car so he could play his music.
